Another very helpful link, although written for college level students, is the On-line Biology Book. The pictures, illustrations, and animations are very useful, as well as the suggested links there. It can be accessed via the following link:

Below is the contents for the Biology course. To access the test for a particular chapter or unit, find it in the 'Tests' column. A chapter title in blue indicates a hyperlink to what I call a "Virtual Handout". The Virtual Handouts are a very comprehensive resource. They use multimedia (interactive software, movies, animations, etc) to illustrate the lessons in the text. Do not overlook or underestimate their value. Open each link and explore each of the recommended features therein...and hey, enjoy it!
