The following set of resources is meant to supplement the Prentice Hall Life Science Text, part of the Science Explorer Series.  Assessments are available for each of the chapters; you will need to call in to HALL for a username and password to access the assessments.  A link is provided to the assessments site on the bottom of each of the Virtual Handouts.  You can also access them directly from the following web site:

Another very helpful link, although written for college level students, is the On-line Biology Book.  The pictures, illustrations, and animations are very useful, as well as the suggested links there.  It can be accessed via the following link:
